Recently, I was gifted a beautiful maple tray + incense burner from a company called Komolab:

…a design and production studio focused on creating functional beauty. Obsessed with form and craft, the company aims to fashion uniquely satisfying goods for the contemporary space and lifestyle.

What initially drew me to their products, was the simple, timeless feel and overall quality of the company’s pieces.

What is ALWAYS important to me is pursuing products that are durable, but also versatile. The maple tray has a soft felt-lining (removable), allowing me to put jewelry and other items in it, without worrying about scratching surfaces. I have additionally utilized it to store my office accessories.

I have to say, my favorite use of the tray is for my skincare products. We all know that the bathroom countertop can become quickly cluttered and messy. This tray allows me to keep things organized and looking good, next to my bathroom sink!

The white oak incense burner from Komolab is uniquely designed with a concrete sphere, to allow the stick to dangle over the catch tray. I have said it before, but I am sensitive to certain smells. I don’t really love woodsy heavy scents, but I do enjoy clean, fresh smells. I carry the incense burner from one room to the next (wherever I happen to be going in my home)…it’s easily transportable and lightweight. Love it.
